My name is Lauren and i live in the USA. I am a full time student and an "artist". I sell paintings sometimes which is sweet. I am 28 and should be out making money but i love to play this game!!! I am also into animation and have a movie i have been working on. But that project has been postponed (the passion that ignited the project fizzled out ). See you in game!!! Mythica Thank You Linwe, i sell portraits but i can paint just about anything. The movie I work on is a dark comedy/ horror movie. It is about an evil cult.

oooooOOOOoooo sounds interesting

Portraits are hard to do so grats on such amazing talent. I used to do woodburning and found that the eyes were always the hardest to capture. I didn't do any drawing by hand, I had to trace my outlines then go back to fill in the rest.

Hiya Dela!! An artist eh? I've never been talented enough to do any sort of creative stuffs. I just tell my friend to draw stuff, he's good at it. Maybe you and Lin trade artistry some day^^. Cya in the perfect world.

i love the smell of burning wood when u r wood burning. However, if u really want controll stick with graphite . You can allways start by looking at pictures upside down and drawling upside down and just copy the lines the best u can. That was how i started out and it seemed to work well for me. Most people say they can't draw but they just get bogged down by the symbolizm that has been in their mind for a life time!!! Don't try to draw an eye. First find a line drawling of one and flip it upside down and copy the lines. I was lucky when it came to art, my mom gave me the artsy genes and i am sure that is a big reason why i am good at it .

I used transfer paper to transfer the designs onto the wood. The problem I had was with the details. I never did get the hang of burning fur or hair, I think my tips were too wide and the pen was too hot. I'll see about finding my website and re-uploading it to show some of the work I've done.
